About Us

As much as we would love to tell you that we were made by a magical tanuki, we were actually made through the sheer obsession around drinks and food that belongs to our owner and their friends.

They could never shake the nostalgia and homesickness they felt but didn’t want to give up the life they had built here.

so after casting a few ancient spells our owner pieced us together, a Japanese eatery with a hidden neighbourhood cocktail bar that serves classics and drinks inspired by all walks of life

That being said we don’t deny our owner has an awfully big resemblance to a large tanuki 🤔

    Our Nutcase of a GM is truly the embodiment of what happens if Kung Fu Panda had an emo phase and made cocktails instead of noodle soup

    You’ll find them everywhere and we do mean everywhere, they’ll even come home with you in a gift bag if you ask nicely 😂

    Riccardo

    Our more than a little eccentric Bar Manager.

    When it comes to the London bar scene He is as classic as daiquiri and has been a friendly face to Industry and guests for more than 18 years.

    Their passion for drinks and the guest experience is a real backbone for the venue.

    He is the grinch if he decided to join a metal band and we love him for that

    We’re not actually sure what Pip’s official job title is but we like to run with“Casper the friendly ghost”

    You can find them doing anything from running drinks and greeting guests to putting their butcher qualifications to use in the kitchen

  • Oliwia

    Our resident anime fan with a love of making drinks to match.

    You’ll see them bouncing around the venue and if you manage to catch her, ask her about kebabs

    You can always find her raising the vibes on any occasion either through her drinks or by being the party herself
